Only once in a while do you have the courage to knock on a strangers door and ask if you can take pictures with their airplane...
I was sent this beautiful dress from AW Bridal in the states, they have an amazing selection of bridesmaid to bridal dresses. Once I received this dress, I just knew I had to go somewhere to really show off this dress in a unique way. When we travel to Edmonton, we usually come back home a northern direction, instead of going through Saskatoon. On this specific route, there is a plane located just 30 minutes from home. It's propped perfectly on a hill, and I always dreamed of taking photos with this plane, though the thought of actually committing and asking the owner, made my heart beat.
After much contemplating, I figured the worst thing that could happen is we drive 30 minutes and the owner says no. After our anxious 30 minute drive, we finally arrived and searched over 20 minutes for the owner. We politely asked permission, and he so generously said YES!
I'm so thankful to have had these 'once in a lifetime' photos with this beautiful collectors plane. This was one for the books.
